1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Client", "you") and HelpDesk Consultants ("we", "us"). By visiting our website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging us for any service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. About Our Services
HelpDesk Consultants is a private consultancy firm incorporated in 2016, providing facilitation and documentation support for Government and allied services such as:
- Accounting & tax compliance — Income Tax, GST, registrations and filings
- DTO services — driving licence, vehicle registration, fitness, transfer, etc.
- CSC services — Aadhaar, Ayushman, Passport, Pension, ticketing, certificates
- Banking services — AEPS withdrawal/deposit, money transfer, bank statements
- RTPS services — Bihar Right to Public Services certificates and land records
We are not a Government body. We act only as a facilitator who assists you in preparing and submitting applications to the relevant Government department, portal or authority. The grant, rejection, fee structure and timeline of any Government approval is solely at the discretion of the concerned authority.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to contract under Indian law to use our services. If you are availing a service on behalf of a minor, business entity or other person, you represent that you are duly authorised to do so.
4. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, current and complete information
- Provide genuine documents — we do not accept or process forged or tampered documents
- Cooperate in providing additional information or documents when requested
- Pay our service charges and applicable Government fees on time
- Use our services only for lawful purposes
You are solely responsible for the consequences of providing false, misleading or incomplete information. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if we suspect any fraudulent intent.
5. Fees and Payments
- Our service charges are separate from Government fees and are communicated in advance.
- Government fees, statutory levies and third-party charges are collected on actual basis.
- Once a service is initiated and Government fees are paid, those amounts are non-refundable.
- Receipts/invoices are provided for all payments collected by us.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds, if any, are governed by our Refund Policy. In general, our service fee may be refunded (in part or in full) only if the work has not yet commenced. Government fees, statutory charges and payments already paid to a third party on your behalf are non-refundable.
7. Turnaround & Outcomes
Any timeline shared by us is an estimate based on normal processing at the concerned department. Actual processing time depends on the Government office, server availability, holidays, document verification and similar factors outside our control. We do not guarantee a specific outcome of any Government application — issuance of a licence, certificate, registration or benefit is at the sole discretion of the concerned authority.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a service shall not exceed the service fee paid by you for that specific engagement.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of business or loss of opportunity.
- We are not liable for delays, denials or errors caused by Government departments, third-party portals, payment gateways, banks or force-majeure events.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images and design — is the property of HelpDesk Consultants or its licensors and is protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
10. Confidentiality
We treat the documents and information you share with us as confidential and use them strictly for the purpose of delivering the requested service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misuse our website, services or contact channels for unlawful or fraudulent activity
- Submit forged, stolen or impersonated identity documents
- Attempt to disrupt, hack or reverse-engineer the website or its systems
- Misrepresent your relationship with us or use our brand without authorisation
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate a service at our discretion if you breach these Terms, fail to provide required documents, or are found to be acting in bad faith. On termination, fees already earned for work performed will not be refundable.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar.
